Products Warranty, Returns & Non-warranty Repairs

LIMITED WARRANTY:

Tri-Tronics warrants its products, when subject to normal and proper use, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for either 1 or 2 years (varies by product, see list below) from the date of purchase from Tri-Tronics or one of its authorized dealers. Within these periods, Tri-Tronics will, at its sole option, repair or replace, at no charge, any components or rechargeable batteries that fail in normal use during the warranty period with new or reconditioned components. The warranty is void if the product has been altered or if unauthorized service has been performed on such product.  The warranty does not cover physical damage or abuse to the product.

This warranty does not apply to: (i) cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks and dents; (ii) consumable parts, such as common replaceable batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (iii) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes; (iv) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorized service provider of Tri-Tronics; or (v) damage to a product that has been modified or altered without the written permission of Tri-Tronics.  In addition, Tri-Tronics reserves the right to refuse warranty claims against products or services that are obtained and/or used in contravention of the laws of any country.

The warranty is transferable to a new owner. Proof of purchase may be required to obtain warranty service. The customer, at its sole cost, shall be responsible for shipping the product to Tri-Tronics. Tri-Tronics, at its sole cost (in the US and Canada only), shall be responsible for shipping the product back to the customer after it is repaired. All repair work done by Tri-Tronics on its products, under warranty or not, is warranted for 180 days from completion of such work except Beeper, Tracer light, & Bark Limiter which are 90 days. If the unit sent in for repair is still under its original warranty, then the new warranty is 180 days (90 days for Beeper, Tracer light, & Bark Limiter) or to the end of the original warranty, depending upon which is longer.

Always contact our Customer Service Department to obtain a return authorization number before sending in your product for repair or return.

Products covered by a 2 year limited warranty: all Sport, Field and Pro Series products; all Pro Control transmitters and receivers; all EXP additional receivers; and NIGHTRAZOR.

Products covered by a 1 year limited warranty: all Bark Limiter products; all Beeper products; and all Tracer products.

THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY ARISING UNDER ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL TRI-TRONICS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER RESULTING FROM THE USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Tri-Tronics retains the exclusive right to repair or replace (with a new or newly-overhauled replacement product) the device at its sole discretion. SUCH REMEDY SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY.
